It’s no surprise that LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network on the Internet.

LinkedIn has grown rapidly in the last six years and it seems to be stronger than ever with a firm grip on the social network market for business professionals. Recent statistics tell us there are “more than 364 million members as of first quarter 2015“.

Jeff Weiner, CEO, has the vision to grow the network to include a profile for every one of the 3 billion members of the global workforce, essentially creating the world’s first digital mapping of the global economy. The site currently operates in over 200 countries and professionals are signing up to join LinkedIn at a rate of more than two new members per second.

So, let’s face it … regardless of whether you’re a job seeker or you have already secured a position, you simply cannot afford not to be on LinkedIn.

Perhaps you do have a profile on LinkedIn, but it’s embarrassingly dull or empty. Well, before you begin job hunting and applying for jobs, be sure to get your profile setup and in tip top shape, so if an employer searches for you there (and it’s highly likely they will), they’ll be impressed by what they see.

If you’re not sure how to setup an online presence on LinkedIn, or how to make your existing profile more engaging, the following recorded webinar is a great place to start.
