Summary

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this Group Financial Controller role will take responsibility for Financial Reporting, Statutory Accounts, Sage Intacct Compliance as well as ad project work as required by the CFO.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for finance related statutory and regulatory reporting and compliance
  • Production of relevant and timely business management information, budgeting and forecasting
  • Management of the UK based finance team and associated risk management
  • Ensuring the Group maintains a strong financial control environment
  • Review of the consolidation of monthly results
  • Consolidation and reporting of budgets and forecasts
  • Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities
  • Integration of current and future acquisitions
  • Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing
  • Significant ad hoc project work
  • Report to the CFO with timely and accurate financial information
  • Assist the CFO in presenting reports to senior executives
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in a business or finance environment
  • Possess the drive and commitment to produce the highest quality work and to deliver expertise at all times
  • Experience working in a Sage Intacct compliant environment (Sage Intacct installation experience is desirable)
  • Experience using Xero (preferred)
  • Management experience & leadership skills
  • Honesty, integrity & reliability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of data privacy standards
