As a Technical Writer at 6 River Systems, you will own all customer-facing product documentation aimed to help our customers understand how to use Chuck, and improve product adoption. As a Technical Writer at 6 River Systems, you can expect to:

• Work with our go-to-market team to define customer relevant information topics
• Work with engineering and product managers to distill customer relevant information details
• Write/edit product documentation including:
  • User Manuals
  • Installation, Maintenance, and TroubleShooting Guides
  • Specifications, Certifications, Restrictions
• Interpret design specs, drawings, and prototypes, and use CAD models to develop technical drawings and parts catalogs
• Develop the best system for maintaining information, enabling customers to easily find what they’re looking for.
• Ensure consistent branding and structure of documents

We’re looking for a Technical Writer who has:

• Sound language skills and be highly motivated to develop your technical writing capabilities
• A commitment to understanding your internal and external audiences
• A deep interest in the different ways that people discover and process information
• High standards, an obsessive eye for detail, and a strong sense of ownership
• A desire to dig deep and learn topics that are not familiar to you, and translate that understanding into content that is accessible and be acted upon
