Not only have these global forward thinking companies been voted as the best places to work, we’re also giving them a huge thumbs up for being remote-friendly.

Every year Glassdoor collates several Employee Choice Awards, including the annual Best Places to Work and Highest Rated CEO awards.  The awards are based entirely on anonymous employee feedback posted to Glassdoor and include reviews on job satisfaction, work-life balance, career opportunities, compensation and benefits.

Out of the 50 companies who made the Best Places to Work 2017 lists for USA, UK and Canada (sadly no list for Australia as yet), we found several of them are also remote-friendly; having either recruited for remote roles in the past (and are highly likely to continue doing so) or have current remote job vacancies at the time of writing.

While many of these companies still operate largely from an office environment, they have virtual teams for different facets of their business. And we’re certain that as more and more companies around the world embrace the remote work movement and reap the benefits of going remote, more opportunities will open up. Exciting times ahead!

So keep a close eye on their remote job vacancies here – there’s no doubt that getting a job at one of these places would be an awesome experience.

But be aware, with accolades like Best Place to Work there will be stiff competition to get your foot in the door. So be sure to have all your ducks in a row – outstanding resume, perfect cover email, awesome online personal brand, engaging LinkedIn profile – and then go for it!

We’ve profiled each company below and included links to any current job vacancies we have listed on Remote Work Hub.
